His parents are Sandra Georgina, who works as a hairdresser, and David Edward Alan “Ted” Beckham, a kitchen designer. They got married in Hackney, London, in 1969.
When Beckham was growing up, he went to Chingford County High School in Ridgeway Park, Chingford.
