Moving on to the 2004/05 season, van Persie joined Arsenal in the Premier League. He made his debut in a Community Shield win against Manchester United. Unfortunately, in January 2007, he broke his metatarsal while celebrating a goal, causing him to miss the rest of the season. In July 2012, van Persie moved to Manchester United after not extending his contract with Arsenal. He made a significant impact, helping secure the championship title in the 2012/13 season with 25 goals. He continued his success with United, scoring a hat-trick in the Champions League in 2014.

In July 2015, van Persie signed with Fenerbahçe Istanbul, achieving runner-up status in 2016. He returned to Feyenoord in January 2018, winning the KNVB Cup in the 2017/18 season.
