In 2005, he became the champion of the NPC USA Championships, which allowed him to compete as an IFBB Pro.

In the following year, he achieved his first victories in two IFBB pro events: the Colorado Pro Championships and the New York Pro Championship.

In 2007, he came in fifth at the Arnold Classic. Even though he could have entered the 2007 Mr. Olympia contest, he chose not to, explaining that he wanted more time to improve.

He participated in his first Mr. Olympia competition in 2008 and finished in third place, making him the first newcomer to reach the top three since Flex Wheeler in 1993.

Professional Wrestling

On October 20, 2013, before TNA’s Bound for Glory event, Heath was there during the pre-show. He walked alongside The BroMans (Jessie Godderz and Robbie E) as they entered the ring for a tag team gauntlet match. They managed to win that match. Later that same night, Heath continued to support them.

He stood by their side when they competed for the TNA World Tag Team Championship against Gunner and James Storm. Once The BroMans secured the victory and became champions, Heath joined in their celebrations both in the ring and during an interview backstage.
