10. Eric Abidal

At number 10 on our list is Eric Abidal. He joined FC Barcelona on June 29, 2007, for €9 million. He got the number 22 jersey since the number 20 he wore at Lyon was already taken. His contract had a €90 million release clause, and Lyon would get an extra €500,000 if Barcelona won the UEFA Champions League in the next four seasons.
In his first season, he played 30 games, and Barcelona finished third in the league. He missed the 2009 Champions League Final due to a red card in the semi-final against Chelsea. In the 2009–10 season, he remained a starter under coach Pep Guardiola, scoring his first goal.

As the team captain, they became the core of the legendary Dream Team. This team achieved four consecutive league championships and secured the European Cup for the first time in the club’s history.

Migueli holds the 7th position in our ranking. He was born in Ceuta and began his football journey with Cádiz CF from 1970 to 1973 in the Segunda División.
